NYICFF was founded in 1997 to promote intelligent, passionate, provocative cinematic works for ages 3-18 and to help define a more relevant and compelling film for kids. Since its launch, the event has grown to become the largest festival for children and teens in North America. The festival's wide global reach and exacting selection criteria provide a level of programming on par with the world's elite festivals for adults. Since 2000, all screenings have sold out in advance.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the 2014 Festival!
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and available for at least three (3) six-hour shifts during weekends in March, in addition to one orientation session (on either February 19th or 20, at 6:30pm). In exchange, volunteers receive a festival t-shirt, lunch or dinner (depending on time of shift), the chance to watch films before and/or after your shifts, and our eternal gratitude!
To get involved, please include which orientation session you will be able to attend (February 19 or 20) in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
