CREATE-A-CARTOON

10am to 4pm daily (early drop-off and late pick-up available)
Battery Park City School, 55 Battery Place, NY 10280

Our youngest producers will use their own stories and art to make an animated movie in collaboration with filmmakers. Children will work together to create the plot, characters, backgrounds, music, and even use their own voices to narrate the story. Then, they will make 3D models of their characters. With the help of production company Small Factory, these original stories are transformed into a completed animated short film.
Cost: $1000
Class size: 15

MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLING

There are countless ways to tell a story. This workshop lets students experiment using a wide variety of animated media including claymation, cutout, stop-motion, whiteboard, and hand-drawn animation techniques.
