A Mothering Group Is Born

Emily Shapiro invites Emerging Mothers to come share your thoughts, hopes, concerns, fears, victories, struggles, prides, disappointments and expertise in mothering.

New parents greatly benefit from early support. The Emerging Mothers group is a safe, nurturing environment in which first-time mothers of infants are encouraged to discover their personal strength and wisdom, exchange stories from the trenches, and make new friends. Weekly topics include sleep; baby's temperment, growth and development; relationships and role changes; work and childcare; breastfeeding and nutrition and having fun with your baby. The needs and desires of the group will guide class content.
