NEW YORK INT'L CHILDREN'S FILM FESTIVAL 2012

Now in its 15th year, the nation's largest festival for kids and teens will present four weekends of groundbreaking and thought-provoking new works for ages 3-18, with 100 new films, opening and closing galas, new feature premieres, six short film programs, filmmaker Q&As, filmmaking workshops and special events!

NYICFF FILMMAKING CAMPS
Registration is now open for NYICFF's February, April and July filmmaking camps. Classes include Stop-Motion Animation, Create-a-Cartoon, and more! Children will have a chance to be on the other side of the camera, learn from experts, and make their visions come to life on the big screen.
Full scholarships available.

NYICFF: AN ACADEMY QUALIFYING FESTIVAL
Recipients of the NYICFF jury prizes will now be eligible for consideration in the Live Action Short and Animated Short Film categories of the Annual Academy Awards.® Congratulations to this year's winners, "Chalk" and "The Little Boy and the Beast!"

A CAT IN PARIS and CHICO & RITA NOMINATED!
A big congratulations to the directors and producers behind two wonderful and deserving films, CHICO & RITA, a beautifully-detailed romance and an ode to a rich musical history, and A CAT IN PARIS, a slinky feline film that captured the hearts of many an audience at last year's NY Int'l Children's Film Festival. Both films were nominated for Best Animated Feature at this year's Academy Awards!
