NYICFF was founded in 1997 to promote intelligent, passionate, provocative cinematic works for ages 3-18 and to help define a more relevant and compelling film for kids.  Since its launch, the event has grown to become the largest festival for children and teens in North America.  The festival’s wide global reach and exacting selection criteria provide a level of programming on par with the world’s elite festivals for adults.  Since 2000, all screenings have sold out in advance.

School outreach
Production workshops
Sponsorship
Marketing

Applicants must be responsible, have excellent communication skills and have a strong interest in film. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a major citywide event and hours may be applied towards school credit if arranged with department.
